How do billing and fee deduction work
Introduction
ZEGOCLOUD deducts fees for service and product usage from your account balance in the ZEGOCLOUD Admin Console. Pay attention to your account balance and fee deduction information in a timely manner.
If you have signed a contract with ZEGOCLOUD and reached an agreement on other service information such as bills and fee deduction, the billing and fee deduction rules specified in the contract but not those described in this section will apply.
Fee deduction
After you use ZEGOCLOUD products and services for a period, fees will be calculated for the usage and deducted from your account balance on the next day (UTC+8:00 time). The following rules are used:
- If you have a monthly complimentary package with 10,000 minutes for Voice & Video Call, the usage is preferentially deducted from the package.
- If you have a package of the product you used, the usage will be deducted from the package after the free minutes are used up.
- If the product package is also exhausted, fees for the excessive part are calculated based on the published price and will be recorded and deducted from your account balance.
- For the deduction restrictions for the complimentary package, see Deduction rules for the Complimentary Package with 10,000 free minutes.
- Video resolution is not restricted for usage of purchased packages. If your balance is less than $0 after fee deduction, a service suspension reminder will be triggered. You must top up your account within three days. Pay attention to your account balance in a timely manner to avoid service suspension.
Bills
In the first five days of each month, ZEGOCLOUD will provide the bill and invoice for the usage in the previous month. You can view your consumption in the previous month in the ZEGOCLOUD Admin Console or in your email. If you have any questions, contact ZEGOCLOUD by sending an email to global_support@zegocloud.com in a timely manner.
